BERLIN — A 19-6 second-quarter run paved the way for a victory Tuesday night at Stephen Decatur High, as the Seahawks defeated North Caroline, 61-40, in girls’ basketball.

LANDOVER — North Caroline High’s Emily Lewis won her third career state title during the Class 2A state indoor track and field championships at the Prince George’s Sports & Learning Complex Monday, Feb. 18.

CAMBRIDGE — Todd Martinek said he still hasn’t recovered from last Saturday’s excitement and stress brought on by Stephen Decatur High’s wrestling team winning the Class 3A state dual-meet title.

RIDGELY — Winning the first nine weight classes Wednesday night, North Caroline High’s wrestling team finished its regular season with a 43-24 victory over Colonel Richardson.
