GREENSBORO — The Greensboro Lions Club will host its fourth annual Marty Gangemi Memorial Car Show on Sunday, June 12, at the Greensboro Elementary School.

The car show was rescheduled after rain postponed the event on June 5.

Gangemi, a former Caroline County Commissioner with a long history of service to the county, died in 2012. He founded this car show before he died, and the Greensboro Lions Club wanted to continue it in his honor. Money raised by the Lions Club is donated to the Gangemi Foundation.

The show is open for all makes, models, cars and trucks. Fifty Top Choice Trophies, a Participant’s Choice Trophy, a King Lion’s Choice Trophy and the Marty Gangemi Award Trophy will be awarded. The first 50 entries will receive a dash plaque.

Registration is from 8 to 11 a.m. Judging is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Awards will be given out around 2 p.m. The Lions Club will be selling its barbecue chicken, and a 50/50 raffle will also be held.

Registration is $15. For a registration form or further information, contact Rick Harris at 410-924-0521 or
