RIDGELY — Tuckahoe Equestrian Center’s “Celebration of the Horse” took place Sept. 28. Celebrating everything equine, this fun-filled day featured multi-discipline demonstrations, including jumpers, drill teams, western pleasure dressage, driving, jousting, barrel racing, trick riding, mounted archery, western dressage, performance mules and therapeutic riding. The festivities included an opening ceremony by the Rough Riders, a “Parade of Breeds” and free carriage rides.

Making a special appearance was Jonathan Shaw, exhibiting horseback games from his Paso Fino.
