RIDGELY — Caroline Career & Technology Center Students were asked by Ridgely Historical Society in September of this year to repair Ridgely’s Train Station circa 1900s baggage cart. Construction Instructor Dennis Hall thought this would be a great project for his students and allow them to take part in some local history.

On Dec. 16, Cathy Schwab, Jerry Sutton and Rick Schwab of Ridgely Historical Society were invited to the unveiling of the completed baggage cart. All students had a part in the renovation but six students took on the total challenge of this project. The Town of Ridgely and Ridgely Historical Society extended their thanks to all the students for their part in helping preserve Ridgely history. The baggage cart will be returned to RR Memorial Park after the new year.
