GOLDSBORO — A Goldsboro home was broken into during the early morning hours on Sept. 12. According to Lt. Donald Baker with the Caroline County Sheriff's Office the victims Gregory Kemp and Jessica Curley called police shortly before 1 a.m. after two men broke the sliding glass door of their home in the 15000 block of Jackson Lane.

The victims told deputies they were laying in bed when they heard the sliding glass door to their bedroom shatter and two suspects, described as black males wearing black hoodies, pants, boots, and black masks, entered their bedroom. The victims said one of the suspects hit Kemp in the head with a gun and started demanding money from him, police said.

One of the suspects is reported to be approximately 5'10" and 240 pounds. The other suspect is approximately 5' 7" and 120 pounds. Both men fled the area and have not been yet located by police. An undisclosed amount of cash was reported stolen.
