Mistletoe Market

Look for local businesses in the Mistletoe Market weekends at Queenstown Premium Outlets.

QUEENSTOWN — Pop in to the pop-up shopping market at Queenstown Premium Outlets called the “Mistletoe Market, 10 Days of Holiday Gifting.” The Mistletoe Market will open Thanksgiving, Nov. 28, from 6 p.m. to midnight, and Black Friday, Nov. 29, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The market will then be open from noon to 6 p.m. on weekends only until Christmas.

The market will be located in the center of the mall, in space 116, between St. John and Adidas.

The businesses that will be a part of the Mistletoe Market include Blackwater Distilling, Murdoch Florists, Island Yacht Canvas, Kent Island Jewelry, Jewels at the Bay, and The Grooming Place Pet Shop. Local artisans will offer Eastern Shore apparel, holiday wreaths, stained glass, soaps, holiday infinity scarfs and so much more.

Tourism Development Coordinator Ashley Chenault said, “It is a shopping event that you do not want to miss. It is the perfect place to find unique finds for your special someone.”

This year, Small Business Saturday, an American Express initiative, occurs on Nov. 30. It is a nationwide effort to call attention to small businesses and their importance to the economy. It was in honor of Small Business Saturday that Queen Anne’s County Economic and Tourism Development in conjunction with the Queenstown Premium Outlets invited 14 local businesses/ artisans to sell their products in an empty store front within the mall.

This partnership is both an advantage to the outlets and small businesses as it helps create additional exposure during a peak shopping time, Chenault said.
