STEVENSVILLE — The Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office is investigating trespassing and malicious destruction of property at the Blue Heron Nature Preserve in Romancoke.

Queen Anne’s County Parks and Recreation reported April 27 employees had found several holes and ruts that were hand dug with a shovel on the Nemo Niedomanski Equestrian Trail to make a sort of dirt bike trail. Damages are being assessed.

Police said they have questioned two suspects, but no charges have been filed.
