GRASONVILLE — The Queen Anne's County Sheriff's Office is investigating a burglary at Wet Dog Car Wash, 301 Evans Avenue.

The owner of the car wash reported at 9:24 a.m. Sept. 17 that two subjects were seen on video surveillance damaging the front door of the building, police said. One of the burglars entered the building, broke into a locked file cabinet and took two white envelopes for inside the cabinet, while the other burglar waited outside, police said.

Both subjects reportedly fled east on U.S. Route 50.

The owner told police the envelopes contained tip money. The total loss was reported at about $1,040.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Deputy Daniel Sutton at 410-758-0770, ext. 1277, or by email, dsutton@qac.org.
