STEVENSVILLE — The Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a past theft from a boat.

On Jan. 9, Charles Hoffman reported multiple components and mechanical parts missing from his boat, which had been parked on an unattended trailed along the 100 block of North Creek Court since early October. Hoffman did not know when the parts were removed.

Missing parts included: a dual propeller; hub hardware; a fuel pump; injectors; a battery; camper canvas; a water pump with pulley; cover for engine; and an upper drive. The missing parts totaled some $7,850, the sheriff’s office said.

The boat is described as a blue and white, 23-ft. Chris Craft with a 2001 Volvo 5.0GL 250 hp engine. It was parked on an EZ Loader Trailer with no tag.

Deputy Matthew Johnston is investigating.
