QUEENSTOWN — On or around Oct. 24, a bald eagle was found injured near the Wye River. The young eagle had been shot in its leg and abdomen.

The Point at Pintail and other local farms are working closely with federal and state authorities to try and reach out to as many people as possible in the area who may have information about this. It has not been determined where the eagle was shot.

Anyone with information is asked to please contact U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Special Agent John LaCorte at 410-228-2476. Callers may remain anonymous, and a there is a $2,500 reward for information leading to the subject(s) involved.
