Dennis Evan Parry and Katharine Ashley Tarr were wed Sept. 21, 2014, aboard the Carnival Pride in the Port of Baltimore. The bride was given away by her parents. The reception also was held aboard the Carnival Pride in the Port of Baltimore.

The maid of honor was Kristen Tarr of Preston, sister of the bride, and the bridesmaids were Ashley Hinch of Greensboro and Tara Neal of Greenwood, Del. The best man was Brad Neal of Greenwood, Del., and the groomsmen were Eddie Myers of Denton and Mike Usilton of Chestertown.

The bride is the daughter of Thomas and B.J. Tarr of Goldsboro. Her grandparents are Paul and Margaret Ann Jones, the late Thomas “Tuck” Davidson and the late Betty Ann Davidson. The bride is a 2005 graduate of North Caroline High School and a 2009 graduate of Strayer University with a degree in business administration. She is a licensed hairstylist and nail technician and owns Paradise Day Spa and Salon in Marydel, Del.

The bridegroom is the son of Dennis R. Parry of Ridgely. His grandparents are Peggy Corkell, the late Thomas Corkell, Emily Parry and the late Edward Parry. The groom is a 2004 graduate of North Caroline High School and has completed training as a firefighter and EMT through the Maryland Fire and Rescue Institution. He is employed as a truck driver for Hands On Construction in Henderson.

The couple honeymooned aboard a week-long cruise to the Bahamas and live in Marydel, Del.
