The Millington Lions Club’s Harry R. Rasin Memorial Scholarship is awarded annually to a deserving student or students from the Millington area who meet high academic and community standards. Funding for the award is derived from various fundraisers throughout each year. The scholarship was named for the late Harry R. Rasin, who for many years was the principal of Millington High School.
The scholarship program was started by Frank Embert in 1995. Since that time, the club has given out 47 scholarships worth a total of $61,500.
