Pet of the week

Garbanzo Bean is a 5-year-old, blue, domestic long haired with stunning yellow eyes. He is very sweet and friendly. He was found as a stray in August and brought to Animal Welfare League. He may have had a home at one time because he enjoys being surrounded by humans and other cats. The gentleman that found Garbanzo Bean also paid his adoption fee, so Garbanzo is free to adopt. He is positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) but has no visible signs of the condition. To meet Garbonzo Bean and other adoptable pets, visit the AWL shelter in Queestown, which is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday through Tuesday.
