Watch for our colorful community calendar

Now you can post your free calendar items in our full page, colorful calendar powered by Evvnt.

The calendar contains over 100 events from the Mid-Shore and items of interest from Annapolis to our Maryland and Delaware beach resorts.

Later this month, the Bay Times and Record Observer will debut the new events calendar that makes it easier for local community groups and businesses to promote their events.

With one submission, your event will be highlighted both at and in the Bay Times and Record Observer print edition. Through our partnership with the national event marketing company Evvnt, you also can share your event listing with other calendar sites in the region.

To submit an event, visit or click the “Local events” tab on our homepage. Then click “Promote your event” and follow the instructions.

Basic event listings are free. You also can choose to purchase a premium package, which brings additional visibility to your events both online and in print.

Once submitted, the event listing will appear online daily and in the print edition nearest to the date of the event.

Virtual events, which have become more common due to the pandemic, are eligible for submission along with in-person events. If your event is virtual, be sure to check the “Virtual Event” box.

We look forward to helping you connect with our neighbors to promote your events with Evvnt!

We encourage you to post your in-person or virtual event, class, concert or community fundraiser on the Evvnt calendar to reach more people in print and online!
