The Next Chapter Book Club will meet on Thursdays 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. This is a unique book club for adults with disabilities.

The Queen Anne’s County Health Department will be at the Library on Jan. 6 for free health screenings from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. The free screenings will include blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose and pulse. Come and take advantage of this program.

Enjoy free movie films at the Library on Friday, Dec. 13, and again on Dec. 20. Each begins at 2 p.m. On Dec. 13, the film is “The Art of Racing in the Rain,” and on Dec. 20, it will be Blinded by the Light.” There will be light refreshments available.

The Library will hold a Fake News and Scams Holiday Edition on Dec. 17 at 2:30 p.m. This will be a time for everyone to catch up on what’s new with this “fake” news, scams and how to survive your family dinner.

For all those ages 2 to 5 with caregiver, come and create a special art project geared toward little ones on Friday, Nov. 15, at 10;30 a.m.

The same age group will want to be at the Library on Nov. 20 at 10:30 a.m. for a special turkey and Thanksgiving-themed story time followed by a craft.

On Tuesday, Nov. 19, at 10 a.m. all those ages birth to 2 with caregiver will want to be here for fun toys for babies to play with. This will provide an opportunity for caregivers to socialize with others.
