CENTREVILLE — The Narrows Restaurant generously donated crab cake platters to veterans who currently reside or work at Corsica Hills Center in Centreville. Veterans at the center received their lunch from the Narrows and were guests of honor at the facility’s “We Honor Veteran’s” ceremony.

“Our residents and staff are extremely grateful for the attention the Narrows gave to our veteran population,” said Caroline Jellison, center executive director. “Nothing says ‘Thank You’ like a crab cake from the Eastern Shore’s revered restaurant.”

Corsica Hills Center is participating in the “We Honor Veterans” national program to promote veteran-centric educational activities, increase organizational capacity to serve veterans, support development of strategic partners and increase access and improve quality.

“Our goal at Corsica mirrors the goal of the program to care for and honor those who have served when they reach the end of life, and even those who are thriving under our care,” Jellison said.

Corsica Hills Center is the only skilled nursing facility in Queen Anne’s County, offering 120 beds of post acute, rehabilitation, long term and dementia care.
