Kimbles family celebrates seventh generation namesake

Celebrating the arrival of little William James “Bo” Kimbles VII are his mom Kate, his grandfather William “Jimmy” Kimbles V, and his father William “Jamie” Kimbles VI.

CENTREVILLE — William James Kimbles VII arrived at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis on Dec, 23, 2018, continuing the family name for the seventh generation.

“We’re just over-the-top happy,” said his paternal great-grandmother Lynn Conley of Centreville.

Little “Bo” is named after the original William James “Polk” Kimbles, who was born in June 1847 in Baltimore. Each generation has been distinguished by a different nickname.

After “Polk,” were descendants “Will” II, “Bill” III, “Billy” IV, “Jimmy” V, “Jamie” VI, and now “Bo” VII.

The newest Kimbles son was welcomed home by his parents Kate and Jamie, along with big sister Stella.

The Anne Arundel nurses who cared for Kate and Bo had never participated in the birth of a seventh generation namesake, Conley said.

“I’m so happy my grandson continued the family line,” Conley said.
