WYE MILLS — Artisans and crafters with original work for sale are sought for the Centreville Rotary’s 48th annual Artisans Festival to be held Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 5 and 6, at Chesapeake College.
All spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Space also is available for food vendors.
Over 50 artists from throughout the Delmarva Peninsula will be exhibit a wide range of talents, including paintings, pottery, basketry, stained glass, wood carving, jewelry and photography.
Show hours are 10 a.m. 4 p.m. Oct. 5 and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 6.
Admission is free, but donations at the entrance will be welcomed. Any proceeds from this event will support local youth scholarships, operation of the regional shelter for victims of domestic violence, participation in the Rotary worldwide project to eradicate polio and Lifetime Wells International, a clean water project in Africa.
