CHESTER — Kent Island Kloset resale store will host its grand opening with ribbon cutting at noon Saturday, Nov. 2. Light refreshments will be served.

The store, located at 8A Chester Plaza, directly across from McDonald’s, is owned by local resident Kristie Brown, who has 30 years experience in customer service. Kent Island Kloset is offering a selection of lightly used name brand clothing, shoes, accessories and athletic wear for children, teens and adults, in sizes ranging from extra small to plus sizes at affordable prices.

Brown said she evaluated local consignment shops in the immediate area to come up with the concept for the store. She said, “Most consignment stores are not stocked with lightly used name brand clothing for children, teens and adults. They don’t carry children’s clothes, young fresh hip clothing for teens/young adults, formal wear or sports gear. We do! We also have a ‘Kids Korner’ with a full wall of children’s sizes from size 8 and up of gently used clothing for our younger, growing children. Come see what we have to offer!”

The store even has brand new handmade jewelry

Sports gear includes all sports balls, baseball bats and gloves, lacrosse sticks, padded gear for all sports, cleats, golf equipment. They also are carrying team sports logo wear.

KI Kloset is not a consignment store. Make an appointment to have your gently used, cleaned name brand items, 25 to 50 pieces, evaluated. The store will make an offer to buy your items within a 48 hour timeframe. To make an appointment or for information, call 443-249-3272.
