GRASONVILLE — On Sunday afternoon, June 12, members and families of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 7464, in Grasonville, are invited to attend the Post's 70th anniversary celebration beginning at 1 p.m., and running until 4 p.m. Past Post commanders and Ladies Auxiliary members will speak briefly at the celebration before a luncheon of hamburgers and hot dogs will be served with all the trimmings.

Post 7464 was "mustered" June 13, 1946, after the end of World War II. A year later, the Ladies Auxiliary was formed at the Post. Together, they have served veterans and their families in the southern half of Queen Anne's County.
