DISORDERLY. Niara Tymitra Wilson, 25, and James Donzell Downes Jr., 27, both of Worton, on May 22, were charged with disorderly conduct; and failure to obey a lawful order meant to prevent a disturbance to the peace.

They were released on personal recognizance.

Deputies Nate Blazejak and Albert Piasecki responded to Lambs Meadow Road at Plum Drive, Worton, at 4:30 p.m. for reports of numerous males fighting in the street, according to a sheriff's office news release.

"On arrival, no assaults were observed and the crowd was dispersed with little difficulty," the deputies wrote in the news release.

Prior to the departure of police, Wilson, "who had been ordered to cease and desist inflammatory actions and yelling," was seen attempting an assault, according to the news release.

After Wilson was taken into custody, Downes allegedly became disorderly. 

THEFT. DFC Dillon Bennett is investigating a May 24 complaint of a rogue and a vagabond in the 10000-block of Flatland Road, Chestertown. The complainant told police that someone removed items from unlocked vehicles. Loss is estimated to be $268.

ASSAULT. Sgt. Scott M. Duhamell is investigating an alleged assault that was reported May 24 when the complainant sought treatment at Shore Medical Center at Chestertown for a BB that was lodged in his arm. The complainant told police that he was shot about two weeks ago while walking on Crane Street in Millington, according to a sheriff's office news release.

FTA. Karen Elaine Baker, 56, Hartly, Del., on May 24, was issued a circuit court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. She was initially held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.

FTA. Amado Bautista Aleman, 27, Millington, on May 24, was issued two district court bench warrants for failure to appear in court. He was released on personal recognizance.

FTA. Alexis Rose Hambrecht, 20, Earleville, on May 24, was issued a Cecil County District Court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. She was released on personal recognizance.

DRUGS. Vance Lexus Taylor, 20, Bear, Del., on May 25, was issued a circuit court warrant charging him with drug-related offenses, including possession of a narcotic with intent to distribute. He was initially held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond. 

THEFT. Darrold Dean Smith III, 31, Chestertown, on May 25, was issued a district court summons charging him with conducting a theft scheme of $1,000 to $10,000.

PROBATION. Sergio Carlos Arrieta Jr., 33, Chestertown, on May 26, was issued a circuit court warrant charging him with violation of probation. He was initially held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.

PROBATION. Robert Rashean Wright Jr., 33, Worton, on May 26, was issued a district court bench warrant charging him with violation of probation. He was initially held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.

FTA. Jessica Rachel Reese, 30, Annapolis, on May 27, was issued a Charles County District Court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. She was released after posting $10,000 unsecured bond.

BURGLARY. DFC Nate Blazejak is investigating a May 30 burglary at Betterton Beach. Someone forced entry into the bathroom and storage building, which are the properties of Kent County Parks and Recreation. A cell phone and two portable radios were reportedly taken.
