Hurlock man arrested in fatal Cambridge shooting

CAMBRIDGE — Cambridge police arrested a Hurlock man Sunday evening in connection with the Sunday, Oct. 5, fatal shooting in the 600-block of Pine Street in Cambridge.

Police said four people were shot with two being killed after shots were fired early Sunday morning in the 600-block of Pine Street.

Cambridge police arrested Terrence Jermaine Brown, 30, and he was charged with two-counts of first-degree murder, two counts of second-degree murder, first-degree attempted murder, three counts of first-degree assault, three counts of second-degree assault, three counts of reckless endangerment, wearing and carrying a handgun and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. He is being held at the Dorchester County Detention Center without bond.

Police said at 12:38 a.m., officers responded to the 600-block of Pine Street for a reported shooting. Police said four people were shot and two of the people were pronounced dead. Police said the two remaining people are being treated at area hospitals.

Police said the names of the victims are being withheld pending notification of family members.

Police said officers continue their investigations but did not release any additional information about the investigation. Police said people with any information are urged to call the Cambridge Police Department at 410-228-3333.
