Times-Record

DENTON — Come join the Caroline County Humane Society and Black Anchor Tattoo on Saturday, Oct. 25, in Denton, as they raise money for the animals of Caroline County in the Tats for Tails fundraiser. In conjunction with the event, from 1 to 4 p.m., the 200 block of Market Street will be closed for a Block Party.

There will be music, vendors, food, a cornhole contest, raffles, adoptable pets and more. Vendors will include Mary Kay, 31, Origami Owl, Silpada, Pure Romance, PIZAZZZZ, and Dave’s Custom Handmade Cornhole Sets.

There will also be a Stuff-a Pickup-Truck courtesy of the Preston Automotive Group. Help fill the truck bed full of pet supplies. Each donation will enter the donor for a chance to win a Preston Automotive gift bag.

Black Anchor Tattoo, 211 Market St., will donate a portion of the monies earned from tattoos done that day from noon to 8 p.m.

To make the event even more exciting, Caroline County Commissioner Larry Porter and Caroline County Humane Society Executive Director Amanda Showell are competing in a “get them tattooed” fundraising competition. Both Porter and Showell are willing to get their first ever tattoos if they can raise $5,0000 each for the animals of Caroline County.
