As a nonprofit, all monies will benefit scholarships and to the Helen Gibson Endowment Fund.

Dean Mary Alice Ball of the Clifton Miller Library also was presented a check for $5,000.
In addition to raising money for the college, the Women’s League has helped more than 100 children in area elementary schools with its “TOES AND TUSHIES” program, which collects socks and underwear for the nurses to give to children.
