Kent's Iseman is a 'super soph'

Sophomore Noah Iseman, who hit a team-best .532 for 9-9 Kent County, will play in a Fantastic Frosh/Super Soph game June 18 at Bowie Baysox Stadium.

WORTON — Kent County High School first baseman Noah Iseman will play in a Maryland State Association of Baseball Coaches Fantastic Frosh/Super Soph game June 18 at Bowie Baysox Stadium. Iseman, a sophomore, is on the East’s 24-man roster.

There are two games June 18 — at noon and 3 p.m. Iseman plays at 3 p.m. when the East takes on the South.

Iseman batted a team-leading .532 for the 9-9 Trojans this spring. He also led the club in on-base percentage (.656), slugging percentage (.702) and RBI (24). He had one home run and it was a dandy, a grand slam April 30 in the 11-7 victory at North Dorchester.

This summer, Iseman will play with the East Coast Royals 16U Prime travel team based in Berlin.
