SUDLERSVILLE — Sarah Kristin Sklanka, 33, Stevensville, on June 12, was charged with failure to stop at a stop sign; and failure to control vehicle speed to avoid a collision.

According to a sheriff's office news release, Sklanka was traveling eastbound on Roe Road, failed to stop at a stop sign, and struck a vehicle that was traveling southbound on Benton Corners Road. Police identified the other driver as a 33-year-old Chestertown man.

No injuries were reported, according to police. Both vehicles sustained minor damage.

The crash was at 9:52 a.m.

STILL POND — Greer Atwell Davies, 26, Worton, on June 28, was charged with possession of more than 10 grams of marijuana. She was released on personal recognizance.

Police initially stopped Davies for speeding; she was allegedly driving 36 mph in a 25-mph zone. Police additionally charged Davies with exceeding the posted speed limit; failure to display registration card upon demand; and displaying expired registration plate.

DFC David W. Nolan conducted the traffic stop at 9:22 p.m. on state Route 292 at Bessicks Corner Road.

STILL POND — Robert Hopper Thompson Jr., 71, Chestertown, on June 28, was charged with driving while impaired by alcohol; driving while under the influence of alcohol; driving while under the influence of alcohol per se; failure to drive on the right half of the road when required; and consuming alcohol in a vehicle.

He was released on personal recognizance.

Sgt. Stuart Lodge conducted the traffic stop at 4:49 p.m. on state Route 292, north of Bessicks Corner Road, after responding to a broadcast to be on the lookout for a reckless driver in the Betterton area, according to a sheriff's office news release.

GALENA — Bryan Joshua Schulte, 33, Bear, Del., on June 29, was charged with driving while impaired by alcohol; driving while under the influence of alcohol; and driving while under the influence of alcohol per se.

Police initially stopped Schulte for speeding; he allegedly was driving 40 mph in a posted 25-mph zone.

Police also charged Schulte with exceeding the maximum speed limit; failure to display registration card upon demand; displaying expired registration plate; and driving without current registration plates and validation tabs.

He was released on personal recognizance.

Cpl. Scott W. Lockerman conducted the traffic stop at 11:51 p.m. on southbound state Route 213 at Seminary Avenue.

CHESTERTOWN — Erin Nichole Wilson, 35, Rock Hall, on June 30, was charged with driving while impaired by alcohol; driving while under the influence of alcohol; and driving while so far impaired that she cannot drive safely.

She also was charged with reckless driving; negligent driving; failure to obey properly placed traffic control device instructions; and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway when required.

She was released on personal recognizance.

Cpl. Scott W. Lockerman conducted the traffic stop at 9:04 p.m. on state Route 20 at state Route 298 after responding to a broadcast to be on the lookout for a "vehicle driving all over the roadway" and after observing a moving violation, according to a sheriff's office news release.
