ASSAULT. Sgt. Stephen Lozar is investigating a June 11 reported assault in the 100-block of Oak Leaf Drive.

HARASS. Nyaira Onyah Beck, 24, Chestertown, on June 12, was issued a summons charging her with failure to comply with a peace order; harassment; and electronic communications harassment. 

FRAUD. PFC Marty Heinefield is investigating a June 13 complaint of fraud in the 700-block of Washington Avenue.

ASSAULT. Charde Amanda Weaver, 25, Chestertown, on June 15, was issued an arrest warrant charging her with second-degree assault; burglary, fourth-degree dwelling; and malicious destruction of property having a value less than $1,000. The offenses are alleged to have occurred June 11 in the 700-block of High Street. Sgt. Stephen Lozar investigated.

ASSAULT. Logan Crouch, 27, Chestertown, on June 15, was issued a summons for second-degree assault. The offense is alleged to have occurred June 11 in the 700-block of High Street. Sgt. Stephen Lozar investigated.

BURGLARY. Sgt. Stephen Lozar is investigating a breaking and entering and complaint of malicious destruction of property June 16 on Schooner Way.

ROBBERY. PFC Marty Heinefield is investigating a reported robbery with assault June 18 in the 100-block of Philosophers Terrace.

BURGLARY. PFC Marty Heinefield is investigating a June 18 burglary in the 100-block of Philosophers Terrace.

FRAUD. Cpl. Michelle Guerriero is investigating a June 18 complaint of fraud in the unit block of Clipper Way.

ASSAULT. Chris C. Wood, no age given, Chestertown, on June 19, was issued a summons for second-degree assault.

DRUGS. Nathan Robert Brooks, 33, and Melissa Marie Morris, 26, both of Elkton, on June 20, were charged with drug-related offenses that include possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute in a school zone/school bus zone. They initially were held in the Kent County Detention Center without bail. The offenses are alleged to have occurred in the 800-block of High Street. Cpl. Albert Piasecki investigated.

 

Kent County Sheriff

ASSAULT. Lt. Harry A. Kettner, on June 19, responded to the 6400-block of Shortall Street, near Chestertown, for a reported assault. The complainant was told she could file charges through the district court commissioner's office, according to a sheriff's office news release.

DRUGS. Allan Gregory Townsend, 49, Rock Hall, on June 19, was issued a district court summons for possession of drug paraphernalia (three counts); and possession of a controlled dangerous substance that is not marijuana.
