Chestertown Police

ASSAULT. PFC Louis Speight is investigating a reported assault Dec. 23 in the unit block of Schooner Way.

ASSAULT. Tara Lashay Emory, 30, Church Hill, on Dec. 23, was charged with second-degree assault (five counts); resist, interfere with arrest; disorderly conduct; failure to obey a reasonable and lawful order; and disturbing the peace. The offenses are alleged to have occurred in the 300-block of Roosevelt Drive. Cpl. Michelle Guerriero investigated.

Rock Hall Police

THEFT. Paul Brian Brinkley, 46, and Carolyn Mae Brinkley, 46, both of Rock Hall, on Dec. 30, were issued summonses charging them each with theft, $100 to less than $1,500 and passing a bad check. They were released on personal recognizance.

 

Kent County Sheriff

DRUGS. Gabriel Colin Hylton, 26, Greensboro, on Dec. 23, was issued a district court summons charging him with possession of a controlled dangerous substance that is not marijuana; and possession of drug paraphernalia.

FTA. Judy Elizabeth English, 27, Clayton, Del., on Dec. 23, was issued a district court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. She was released on personal recognizance.

THEFT. DFC Collin W. Shockley is investigating a Dec. 26 theft of keys and a cell phone in the 11000-block of Colly Cove Lane, near Worton. Police reported that a suspect has been identified.

CONTEMPT. Susan Marie Jackson, 61, Worton, on Dec. 27, was issued a Queen Anne's County District Court body attachment charging her with contempt of court. She was released after posting $2,000 unsecured bond.
