Chestertown Police
FRAUD. Detective Christopher Pavon is investigating an Oct. 11 complaint of fraud in the 500-block of High Street.
HARASS. Nijah Jamilla Black, 23, Chestertown, on Oct. 15, was issued a summons charging her with harass: a course of conduct.
THEFT. Detective Christopher Pavon is investigating the thefts of four bicycles from Washington College on Oct. 15.
ASSAULT. Ketoria Lashawn Newton, 26, Chestertown, on Oct. 16, was issued a summons charging her with attempted second-degree assault. The offense is alleged to have occurred in the 400-block of Morgnec Road.
THEFT. Sgt. Stephen Lozar is investigating an Oct. 16 theft of 12 batteries (48 volt) in the 200-block of Scheeler Road. Loss is estimated to be more than $10,000.
BAD CHECK. Rhette Lee Price, 48, Chestertown, on Oct. 17, was issued a summons charging her with passing a bad check.
THEFT. Kyle Alexander-Tyler Temple, 26, Chestertown, on Oct. 20, was issued a summons charging him with theft of a credit card; theft, $100 to less than $1,500 (two counts); and placing charges on another's credit card (two counts). The offenses are alleged to have occurred Sept. 19.
BURGLARY. Detective Christopher Pavon is investigating a breaking and entering in the predawn hours of Oct. 23 in the 100-block of North Mill Street. Police said someone forcibly entered the residence and then broke into two vehicles. A gun and cash were taken from the vehicles; the gun has been recovered, police said. No injuries were reported.

Queen Anne's Sheriff
MDOP. Deputy Daniel Sutton is investigating two complaints of malicious destruction of property to mailboxes in the 300-block of Red Lion Branch Road, Millington, on Oct. 6. According to the preliminary investigation, a vehicle struck both mailboxes. The cost of a replacement mailbox is estimated to be $100, according to a sheriff's office news release.
FRAUD. Cpl. Maria Bassaro is investigating a Barclay woman's complaint on Oct. 10 that unauthorized accounts were opened in her name at two stores in Stevensville.
Kent County Sheriff
ASSAULT. Two 15-year-old girls from the Chestertown area, on Oct. 16, were referred to the Department of Juvenile Services on a complaint of disorderly conduct.
One of the girls also was referred on a complaint of second-degree assault. She is accused of punching the other girl in the head.
The girls were identified as students at Kent County High School and the offenses are alleged to have occurred on campus.
Deputy Scott Metzbower investigated.
HARASS. Amanda Marie Mastriano, 39, Townsend, Del., on Oct. 16, was issued a district court summons charging her with harass: a course of conduct.
