CONTEMPT. Clayton Carroll Porter Jr., 32, Viola, Del., on Oct. 27, was issued a Queen Anne's County District Court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. He also was wanted by police in Delaware County, Pa., for failure to appear in court, according to the Kent County Sheriff's Office. Porter was released into the custody of the Maryland State Police, Centreville barrack.

FTA. Keontra Davon Lively, 30, Chestertown, on Oct. 28, was issued a district court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. He was released on personal recognizance.

BURGLARY. Tawnya Jainice Brown, 30, Chestertown, on Oct. 28, was charged with burglary (two counts); unlawful taking of a motor vehicle; unlawful removal of a motor vehicle; and theft, $1,500 to less than $25,000. She initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bail.

Brown is accused of taking a vehicle from Todd's Body Shop on Oct. 1.

DRUGS. A 15-year-old female from the Millington area and a 15-year-old female from the Kennedyville area, on Oct. 30, were referred to the Department of Juvenile Services on a complaint of possession of marijuana. They were identified as students at Kent County High School, and are accused of smoking marijuana on school property. Deputy Scott N. Metzbower investigated.

ASSAULT. DFC Samuel L. Manning is investigating a reported assault Oct. 30 in the 7500-block of Quaker Neck Road, Chestertown. A suspect has been identified, according to police.

BURGLARY. Tawnya Jainice Brown, 30, Chestertown, on Oct. 30, was issued a district court arrest warrant charging her with second-degree burglary. She initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bail.

PROBATION. Jessica Piasecki Townsend, 42, Chestertown, on Nov. 1, was issued a circuit court arrest warrant charging her with violation of probation. She initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bail.

BURGLARY. DFC David W. Nolan is investigating a Nov. 1 burglary in the 8500-block of Bell Rose Lane, near Chestertown. The complainant reported that a television valued at $450 was taken.

ASSAULT. Edward Gomez Jr., 42, Millington, on Nov. 1, was charged with second-degree assault. He was released on $3,000 unsecured bond. The offense is alleged to have occurred in the 32000-block of Cypress Road, Millington.

PROBATION. Kyle David Hitchens, 29, Chestertown, on Nov. 2, was issued two Howard County District Court bench warrants charging him with violation of probation. Bail initially was set at $40,000.

He also was issued a Queen Anne's County District Court summons charging him with fourth-degree burglary and a Kent County District Court summons charging him with theft, less than $100.

ASSAULT. John Wayne Boone III, 20, Church Hill, on Nov. 3, was issued a district court arrest warrant charging him with second-degree assault. He was released on $3,500 unsecured bond.

THEFT. Deputy Samuel L. Manning is investigating a Nov. 3 theft of jewelry in the 26000-block of Big Woods Road, near Worton. Total loss is estimated to be more than $3,000. A suspect has been identified, according to police.

THEFT. DFC Samuel L. Manning is investigating a Nov. 3 theft in the 10000-block of Chesterville Forest Road, Millington. The complainant told police that someone known to her used her account information to make online purchases totaling $293.

RUNAWAY. DFC David W. Nolan is investigating a Nov. 3 report of a Chestertown area boy who took his mother's vehicle without permission to run away from home. When the boy is located he will be referred to the Department of Juvenile Services, according to police.
