The courthouse calendar will carry guilty, not guilty, NP and stet verdicts.

NP (nolle prosequi): A formal entry upon the record by the prosecuting officer in a criminal case by which he declares that he “will no further prosecute” the case.

Stet: Stay of a decision that may not be entered over the defendant’s objection and may be reinstated within the year for trial at the request of either party. After one year’s time, it may be rescheduled only upon good cause shown.

The only district court motor vehicle cases that are published here are those related to impaired driving.

The following charges are dismissed: failure to drive on the right half of the roadway when required; and driving while under the influence of alcohol.
