Book sale is Nov. 14-17 at Kent library

Book lovers slowly make their way through the selection of titles during last year’s Friends of the Kent County Public Library book sale at the Chestertown branch of the library. This year’s sale will be held from Nov. 14 to 17.

CHESTERTOWN — Give the gift of a good read with the Friends of the Kent County Public Library’s semi-annual sale held this year from Nov. 14 to 17.

Sale items will include books, DVDs, games, audiobooks with many priced for less than $2, a news release states.

The sale will be held at Chestertown branch of the Kent County Public Library, at 408 High St. Sale dates are:

• From 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14 — Members’ Night where non-members may join the FOL at the door. Snacks and beverages will be served.

• From 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15.

• From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16 and Sunday, Nov. 17.

Sunday is $5 Box Day where attendees are invited to bring a box they can fill and pay $5 for the contents. Special items also will be half price.

Cash or check only. All proceeds benefit the Kent County Public Library by subsidizing the purchase of new items and supporting community outreach programs.
