Washington cagers are playoff-bound for the first time in 23 years

Senior guard Madeline Williams is averaging a team-high 33.3 minutes a game for Washington. She has appeared in 23 games this season, all starts.

CHESTERTOWN — Washington's women, who are in the postseason for the first time since 1999, open tournament play Tuesday night at Dickinson in the play-in game between the No. 4 and No. 5 seeds.

The teams split during the regular season, each winning on the other's home court.
