CHESTERTOWN — Nominations are being accepted for the annual Special Education Staff Recognition Awards. Hosted by the Special Education Citizens Advisory Committee (SECAC), the awards ceremony will be held at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 24 at Kent County Middle School.
The evening will include a review of the latest data on Special Education in the county and updates on new regulations and Maryland State Department of Education technical assistance bulletins.
Dinner and childcare will be provided to those who register to attend.
Nominations are being accepted from parents and guardians for Kent County Public School employees who have made a positive impact on students receiving Special Education or related services. The nomination form is available at https://forms.gle/9Ygmav49A97nh9Cu9. Nominations are open through Saturday, May 20.
