STILL POND — Tyresse Fabian Bartley, 21, Adelphi, on July 4, was charged with driving at speed exceeding limit, 44 mph in a 25-mph zone; driving, attempting to drive without required license and authorization; driving on suspended license and privilege; and driving while license is suspended.

He also was charged with weapons offenses including having a handgun in a vehicle; possession of a loaded handgun; and illegal possession of a regulated handgun.

He was released on personal recognizance.

Cpl. Scott Lockerman conducted the traffic stop at 12:05 p.m. on Still Pond Road at Maple Avenue.

CHESTERTOWN — Dashawn Tyrell Watson, 33, Chestertown, on July 4, was charged with driving while impaired by alcohol; and driving while under the influence of alcohol.

He also was charged with driving, attempting to drive without required license and authorization; driving on suspended license and privilege; driving while license is suspended; and exceeding maximum speed, 71 mph in a posted 55-mph limit.

He was released after signing the traffic citations.

DFC Aquil Freeman conducted the traffic stop at 8:06 p.m. on eastbound state Route 291 in the area of Morgnec Road.

ROCK HALL — Darnell Demetrious Jenkins, 33, Salisbury, on July 8, was charged with motor vehicle violations that include driving at speed exceeding limit, 48 mph in a 40-mph zone; operating an unregistered motor vehicle; and holder of a learner's permit driving without required supervision.

The traffic stop was at 12:01 a.m. on state Route 20 in the area of Judefind Avenue.

DFC Aquil Freeman reported that while he was conducting a probable cause search, Jenkins allegedly discarded suspected drugs and then fled the scene, according to a sheriff's office news release.

CHESTERTOWN — Lisa Rose Kordek, 60, Rock Hall, on July 8, was charged with driving, attempting to drive while impaired by alcohol; and driving, attempting to drive while under the influence of alcohol.

She was released after signing the traffic citations.

It is alleged that Kordek was impaired when she arrived at the Kent County Detention Center "to check in" at 1:56 p.m., according to a sheriff's office news release.
