CHESTERTOWN — Officer Meera Srinivasan is investigating a hit-and-run crash 6:23 p.m. Aug. 14 in the 100-block of S. Cross Street.

MILLINGTON — Christine Marie Cruz-Delgado, 21, Galloway, N.J., on Aug. 11, was charged with possession of marijuana, more than 10 grams.

She was released on personal recognizance.

DFC Collin Shockley conducted the traffic stop at 2:59 p.m. on U.S. Route 301 in the area of state Route 291.

CHESTERTOWN — Robert Thomas Cochran, 30, Chestertown, on Aug. 14, was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol; driving while under the influence of alcohol per se; driving while impaired by alcohol; and consuming alcohol in a vehicle on the roadway.

He was released on personal recognizance.

Police initially stopped Cochran for some alleged traffic violations. He was charged with failure to drive on the right halfway of the roadway when required.

Cpl. Scott Lockerman conducted the traffic stop at 8:35 p.m. on state Route 20 in the area of state Route 298.

GALENA — D'andre J'wuan Glover, 24, Woodbridge, Va., on Aug. 15, was charged with two counts each of handgun in a vehicle and loaded handgun in a vehicle.

He was released on personal recognizance.

Police initially stopped Glover for allegedly speeding.

During a probable cause search of the vehicle, police seized suspected marijuana in an amount less than 10 grams, according to a sheriff's office news release.

DFC Aquil Freeman conducted the traffic stop at 1:24 p.m. on U.S. Route 301 in the area of the 114-mile marker.

MASSEY — Emilio Benjamin Baldwin, 46, Denton, and Cynthia Deanne Walters, 47, North East, on Aug. 21, were charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance that is not marijuana; and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Walters was released on personal recognizance.

Baldwin was released after posting $3,000 unsecured bond.

Walters and Baldwin were identified as occupants of a vehicle at Millington Wildlife Management Area that was reported to be "suspicious," according to a sheriff's office news release.

DFC Dave Nolan reported that while making contact with Walters and Baldwin at 1:52 a.m., he saw suspected controlled dangerous substances in "plain view," according to the news release.

GALENA — Jeffrey Mark Stevens, 55, Middletown, Del., on Aug. 22, was charged with driving while impaired by alcohol; driving while under the influence of alcohol; and driving while under the influence of alcohol per se.

Stevens also was charged with failure to display license to uniformed police; displaying expired registration; and operating an unregistered motor vehicle. 

He was released after signing the traffic citations.

DFC Ryan Price responded to a dispatch to check the welfare of a driver on state Route 213 in the area of Dogwood Drive at 5:45 p.m.

Stevens was identified as the driver.
