CHESTERTOWN — A suspected controlled dangerous substance and drug paraphernalia were seized during a traffic stop and K-9 scan Feb. 11 on Buckingham Road. Charges are pending the results of laboratory tests, according to a sheriff's office news release. DFC Aquil Freeman investigated.

CHURCH HILL — Luigi Antonio Costagliola, 19, Millington, on Feb. 6, was charged with possession of a fictitious driver's license; possession of more than one driver's license at a time; and underage possession of alcohol.
Police initially stopped Costagliola for allegedly speeding.
During the traffic stop, Costagliola acted nervously, according to a sheriff's office news release. He told police that he had just left a liquor store where he purchased alcohol with a fake ID, according to the news release.
Police reported that two cases of beer and several bottles of wine were located in the vehicle.
Costagliola was sober, and was released at the scene, according to the news release.
Deputy Joseph Miller conducted the traffic stop at 9:49 p.m. on state Route 213 at Schrader Road. Deputy Sean Holden and DFC Alex Cooper assisted.
