GALENA — John Bennett Peterson, 21, Media, Pa., on Feb. 4, was charged with driving, attempting to drive while under the influence of alcohol; driving while under the influence of alcohol per se; and driving, attempting to drive while impaired by alcohol.
He was released on personal recognizance.
Police initially stopped Peterson for allegedly failing to display two lighted front lamps when required.
Sgt. Sean Maloney conducted the traffic stop at 11:27 p.m. on U.S. Route 301 south of state Route 313.
CHESTERTOWN — Daniel Bo Wong, 33, Chestertown, on Feb. 7, was charged with driving while impaired by alcohol; driving while impaired by a controlled dangerous substance; and driving while so far impaired that he cannot drive safely.
According to a sheriff's office news release, deputies seized an amount of suspected cannabis less than the criminal amount of 2.5 ounces.
Wong also was charged with failing to drive on the right half of the roadway when required; giving a false and fictitious name to uniformed police; driving without required license and authorization; and failure to display two lighted front lamps when required.
He was released on personal recognizance.

MILLINGTON — Deputies on Feb. 9 responded to Chesterville Bridge Road for a two-vehicle crash with injuries.Â
According to a sheriff's office news release, one vehicle pulled out of a driveway in front of another vehicle that was traveling on Chesterville Bridge Road. One of the drivers, identified as an 84-year-old man, was airlifted to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. The other driver, identified as a 40-year-old man, was treated and released.Â

MILLINGTON — Dawn Marie Gannon, 49, Galena., on Feb. 11, was charged with driving while impaired by alcohol; driving while under the influence of alcohol; driving without required license and authorization; and driving on revoked out-of-state license.
She was released on personal recognizance.
Gannon was charged after a call for a suspicious vehicle.

CHESTERTOWN — Terry Andrew Steward, 56, Worton, on Feb. 12, was charged with driving while impaired by alcohol; driving while under the influence of alcohol; driving without required license and authorization; and failure to display registration card upon demand by police officer.
He was released on personal recognizance.
According to a sheriff's office news release, during an unrelated incident, Steward was stopped after he almost struck deputies' vehicles.
"No actual contact was made with deputies' vehicles and there were no injuries," the news release stated.
Sgt. Nick Watson conducted the traffic stop at 2:58 a.m. on northbound Flatland Road at Cromwell Clark Road.
