GALENA — George Allen Cosner, 63, Camp Hill, Pa., on Jan. 2, was charged with driving while impaired by alcohol; driving while under the influence of alcohol; and driving while under the influence of alcohol per se.

He was released after signing the traffic citations.

Police initially stopped Cosner for alleged traffic violations.

He also was charged with failure to drive on the right half of the roadway when required; changing lanes when unsafe; and exceeding posted maximum speed, 48 mph in a 30-mph zone.

Cpl. G. Travis Manning conducted the traffic stop at 9:49 p.m. on northbound state Route 213, south of state Route 313.

FAIRLEE — Rhiannon Olivia Vinson, 42, West Chester, Pa., on Jan. 3, was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and driving while impaired by alcohol.

She was released after signing the traffic citations.

Police initially stopped Vinson for alleged traffic violations.

DFC Aquil Freeman reported that during a roadside interview with Vinson, he observed "indicators of alcohol impairment." Subsequently, Vinson allegedly performed poorly on standardized field sobriety tests, according to a sheriff's office news release.

Vinson also was charged with failure to obey properly placed traffic control device instructions; failure to drive on the right half of the roadway; and driving without rear registration plate illumination.

DFC Freeman conducted the traffic stop at 2:11 a.m. on westbound state Route 20 at state Route 298.

Queen Anne's Sheriff

CHURCH HILL — Daeqwon Zalik Rogers, 20, Chestertown, on Dec. 28, was issued a civil citation for possession of marijuana, less than 10 grams. 

He was released on personal recognizance.

DFC James Bradley and Deputy Dakoda Wagner were conducting a patrol check at 10:57 p.m. when they came upon a vehicle parked at the Church Hill Park. Rogers was identified as the driver.

A probable cause search was conducted and suspected marijuana was located inside the vehicle, according to a sheriff's office news release.
