CHESTERTOWN — Rodney Alvin Distance Jr., 40, Randallstown, on Dec. 6, was charged with numerous traffic offenses including driving while license is suspended; driving on a suspended registration; failure to obey properly placed traffic control device instructions; driving the wrong way on a one-way street; and driving on suspended license and privilege.
PFC Brandon McGinnis conducted the traffic stop at 11:41 p.m. in the 800-block of Washington Avenue.
CHESTERTOWN — Richard William Moye, 45, Chestertown, on Dec. 20, was charged with failure to control vehicle speed to avoid a collision; driving, attempting to drive while impaired by a controlled dangerous substance; driving while so far impaired that he cannot drive safely; and failure to display license to uniformed officer upon demand.
The charges were filed after Officer Travis Burke, PFC Brandon McGinnis and Chief Ronald Dixon responded to the 500-block of Cannon Street for a report of a vehicle fire.
CHESTERTOWN — Angus Barringer Cawley, 24, Chestertown, on Dec. 21, was charged with driving in excess of reasonable and prudent speed; failure to obey properly placed traffic control device instructions; driving while under the influence of alcohol; and driving while impaired by alcohol.
Officer Meera Srinivasan conducted the traffic stop at 10:38 p.m. on College Avenue at Campus Avenue.

KENNEDYVILLE — Gerald Anthony Arrigo, 55, Worton, on Dec. 16, was charged with driving while impaired by alcohol; driving while impaired by a controlled dangerous substance; and driving while so far impaired that he cannot drive safely.
Arrigo also was charged with failure to control vehicle speed to avoid a collision; failure to display license to uniformed police on demand; driving without required license and authorization; and driving while license is suspended.Â
He was released on personal recognizance.
DFC Collin Shockley responded to a parking lot in the 12000-block of Augustine Herman Highway, Kennedyville, at about 12:45 p.m. for a reported property damage accident. The investigation determined that Arrigo was driving a pickup truck that struck another vehicle, according to a sheriff's office news release.
GALENA — Mark Ashton Debnam, 25, Millington, on Dec. 16, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol; driving under the influence of alcohol per se; and driving while impaired by alcohol.
He was released on personal recognizance.
Police initially stopped Debnam for failure to drive on the right half of the roadway when required.
Cpl. Scott Lockerman conducted the traffic stop at 10:44 p.m. on South Main Street near Cross Street.
