Chestertown Police
MDOP. Faith Donye Bennett, 22, Chestertown, on Nov. 26, was issued a district court summons for malicious destruction of property having a value less than $1,000; and disorderly conduct. The offenses are alleged to have occurred Oct. 30 in the 200-block of Devon Drive.
THEFT. Lindsay Breann Thomas, 34, Chestertown, on Dec. 2, was issued a district court summons for theft, $100 to less than $1,500; driving, attempting to drive without required license and authorization; driving on suspended license; knowingly driving an uninsured vehicle; displaying expired registration plates; and driving without current tags. She was released on personal recognizance.
The charges stem from an incident on Nov. 5 in the 100-block of Philosophers Terrace that initially was reported as a strong-arm robbery. Chief Ronald Dixon investigated.
FTA. Kenya Kanwana Taylor, 30, Chestertown, on Dec. 3, was issued a district court bench warrant for failure to appear in court.
ASSAULT. PFC Brandon McGinnis and Officer Travis Burke on Dec. 9 responded to the 400-block of Morgnec Road for a reported assault.
FTA. Brittany Dawn Lee, 30, Marydel, on Dec. 9, was issued a district court bench warrant for failure to appear in court.
She also was wanted on warrants from the Maryland State Police, Caroline County Sheriff's Office and Queen Anne's County Sheriff's Office.
THEFT. Chief Ronald Dixon on Dec. 21 responded to the 400-block of Morgnec Road for a reported theft. The investigation is continuing, according to a CPD news release.
ASSAULT. Kevia Exum, 38, Chestertown, on Dec. 23, was issued a district court summons for second-degree assault; and violating a protective order. She was released on personal recognizance. The offenses are alleged to have occurred Dec. 19 in the 100-block of Kennedy Drive. Officer Travis Burke and PFC Brandon McGinnis investigated.
THEFT. PFC Brandon McGinnis on Dec. 24 responded to Washington Square shopping center for a reported theft from a vehicle. The investigation is continuing, according to a CPD news release.
THEFT. PFC Howard Eveland on Dec. 25 responded to the 300-block of Roosevelt Drive for a reported theft.
SHOPLIFTING. PFC Brandon McGinnis on Dec. 30 responded to the Washington Square shopping center for a shoplifting complaint. The investigation is continuing, according to a CPD news release.

PROBATION. Nancy Willis Smith, 63, Still Pond, on Dec. 20, was issued a circuit court bench warrant for violation of probation. She initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bail.
THEFT. Bonnie Elizabeth Hillibush, 40, Worton, on Dec. 20, was charged with theft, less than $100. She was released on personal recognizance. Deputies responded to the Dollar General store in Worton for a shoplifting complaint. According to a sheriff's office news release, Hillibush was in possession of items that had been reported taken.
CONTEMPT. Tyshawn Lamonte Turner, 34, Rock Hall, on Dec. 27, was issued a circuit court bench warrant for contempt of court. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bail.
PROBATION. Andrew John Rechner, 59, Millington, on Dec. 29, was issued a circuit court bench warrant for violation of probation. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bail.
According to a sheriff's office news release, while deputies were serving Rechner with the bench warrant they found him to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. He was issued citations for possession of a controlled dangerous substance that is not marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
ASSAULT. Deputies on Dec. 29 at about 8:10 p.m. responded to the 23000-block of Raleigh Road, near Chestertown, for a reported assault. According to a sheriff's office news release, the complainant was referred to the district court commissioner's office if they wanted to pursue criminal charges.
PROBATION. Jeanne Marie Apple, 39, Chestertown, on Dec. 31, was issued a circuit court bench warrant for violation of probation. She initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bail.
FTA. Franklin Alexander Wilson, 42, Chestertown, on Jan. 1, was issued a circuit court body attachment for failure to appear in court. Bail initially was set at $3,000.
The sheriff's office reported that Wilson also was wanted for an outstanding Pennsylvania warrant, which was lodged as a detainer.
MDOP. Deputies on Jan. 3 responded to the 100-block of Sassafras Street, Millington, for a complaint of damaged windows. The investigation is continuing, according to a sheriff's office news release.
CONTEMPT. Davida Royale Harris, 35, Chestertown, on Jan. 3, was issued a circuit court bench warrant for contempt of court. She initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bail.
ASSAULT. Brandon Lee Baker, 32, Rock Hall, on Jan. 3, was issued a Queen Anne's County District Court summons for second-degree assault.
PROBATION. Kevia Tamira Exum, 38, Worton, on Jan. 4, was issued a Dorchester County District Court bench warrant for violation of probation. She initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bail.
PROBATION. Charles Lee Reynolds, 55, Galena, on Jan. 5, was issued circuit court bench warrants for violation of probation and contempt of court.Â
ARSON. Jacob Alexander Bussells, 26, Rock Hall, on Jan. 5, was issued a district court summons for threat of arson.
ROBBERY. Peyton Dallas Parks, 28, Chestertown, on Jan. 6, was issued a circuit court arrest warrant charging him with assault; theft, less than $100; attempted theft, less than $100; and two counts of robbery. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bail.
