ESCAPE. Cody Lee Figiel, 28, Chestertown, on Oct. 28, was issued an arrest warrant charging him with attempted escape, second degree. The offense is alleged to have occurred Oct. 26 in the 100-block of North Cross Street.

DRUGS. Andre Darnell Walker, 20, Betterton, on Nov. 6, was issued a citation for possession of marijuana, more than 10 grams. The offense is alleged to have occurred in the 800-block of High Street.

ASSAULT. Cpl. Albert Piasecki is investigating a reported assault Nov. 7 in the 500-block of High Street. 

THEFT. Sgt. Stephen Lozar is investigating a Nov. 7 theft in the 200-block of Mount Vernon Avenue. Loss is estimated to be less than $300.

THEFT. Officer Mary McLaughlin is investigating a reported theft Nov. 13 in the 500-block of High Street.

COUNTERFEIT. Officer Mary McLaughlin is investigating a Nov. 14 complaint of counterfeit money being circulated.

ASSAULT. Chief John Dolgos is investigating a reported assault Nov. 14 in the 500-block of Cannon Street.

BURGLARY. Officer Mary McLaughlin is investigating a reported burglary Nov. 14 in the 100-block of Prospect Street.

ASSAULT. Charde Amanda Weaver, 26, Chestertown, on Nov. 16, was issued a summons for second-degree assault. The offense is alleged to have occurred in the 200-block of North College Avenue.

 

Kent County Sheriff

CONTEMPT. Tamera Kaye Raimond, 42, Rock Hall, on Nov. 5, was issued a circuit court arrest warrant charging her with contempt of court. She initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bail.

THEFT. Robert George Maxwell, 56, Earleville, on Nov, 6, was issued a district court summons for theft, $1,500 to less than $25,000.

THEFT. DFC Parker L. Hudson is investigating a Nov. 6 theft of antiques from a residence in the 20000-block of Georgia Avenue and a complaint of malicious destruction of property at that address. 

MDOP. Two 11-year-old girls and an 11-year-old boy from the Millington area, on Nov. 6, were referred to the Department of Juvenile Services on a complaint of malicious destruction of property. They are accused of breaking windows at the former elementary school in Millington. Cost to repair the damage is estimated to be more than $1,000. Sgt. J. Nicholas Watson investigated.

ASSAULT. DFC Parker L. Hudson is investigating a reported assault Nov. 7 on 6th Avenue, Betterton. There also was a complaint of malicious destruction of property.

PROBATION. Daniel Glenn Rathkamp, 34, Seaford, Del., on Nov. 7, was issued a district court bench warrant charging him with violation of probation. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bail.

FTA. Allen Preston Wickes Jr., 56, Worton, on Nov. 8, was issued a district court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. He was released on $5,000 bond.  

THEFT. DFC Parker L. Hudson investigated a Nov. 8 complaint of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle in the 10000-block of Fermoy Road, near Chestertown. The vehicle was recovered and a juvenile was referred to the Department of Juvenile Services on complaints of driving without a license and unauthorized taking of a motor vehicle, according to a sheriff's office news release. 

DRUG TEST. Tamera Kaye Raimond, 42, Rock Hall, on Nov. 10, was issued a summons for altering a drug/alcohol test.

FTA. Kiyan Lamar Hynson, 40, Chestertown, on Nov. 12, was issued a circuit court body attachment for failure to appear in court. He was released after posting $10 bond.

ASSAULT. Cpl. Nate Blazejak is investigating a reported assault Nov. 13 in the 32000-block of Millington Road, Millington. A suspect has been identified, according to a sheriff's office news release.
