ASSAULT. Michelle Marie Barrett, 45, Galena, on March 16, was issued a district court summons for second-degree assault.

PROBATION. Edwin Eugene Wright Jr., 49, Chestertown, on March 18, was issued two circuit court arrest warrants charging him with violation of probation. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bail.

DRUGS. Christina Nicole Piver, 35, Millington, on March 19, was issued a circuit court arrest warrant charging her with drug-related offenses including possession of a narcotic with intent to distribute (two counts). She initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bail.

THEFT. DFC Collin Shockley is investigating a March 20 complaint of theft, $100 to less than $1,500 involving an internet scam. The complainant is a Galena resident, according to a sheriff's office news release.

TRUANCY. Nyaira Onyah Beck, 25, Chestertown, on March 22, was issued a district court summons for failure to send her child to school.

Chestertown Police

THEFT. Alexander O'Neil Sisco, 29, Chestertown, on March 5, was issued a summons for theft, $100 to less than $1,500; and theft, less than $100. The offenses are alleged to have occurred Nov. 15, 2018 in the 700-block of Washington Avenue. PFC Howard Eveland investigated.

ASSAULT. Nicolas Jiles, 27, Chestertown, on March 11, was issued a summons for second-degree assault. The offense is alleged to have occurred Feb. 7 in the 300-block of Devon Drive. PFC Marty Heinefield investigated.

ASSAULT. Cpl. Michelle Guerriero is investigating a reported assault March 11 in the unit block of Cutter Crossing.

FTA. Casey Edward Thompson, 34, Clayton, Del., on March 14, was issued a district court bench warrant for failure to appear in court.

THEFT. PFC Marty Heinefield is investigating a March 14 theft in the 500-block of Washington Avenue. Loss is estimated to be less than $100.

THEFT. Mark Anthony Sims, 53, and Natasha Nicole Harmon, 34, both of Chestertown, on March 14, were issued summonses for theft, $100 to less than $1,500. The offense is alleged to have occurred in the 500-block of Washington Avenue.

BURGLARY. Kandace Aline Sarratt, 34, Millington, on March 15, was issued a district court arrest warrant charging her with first-, third- and fourth-degree burglary; theft, less than $100; and attempted theft, less than $100. She initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bail. The offenses are alleged to have occurred March 14 in the 200-block of Hadaway Drive. 

THEFT. Cesar Daniel Martinez Herrea, 51, Chestertown, on March 16, was issued a summons for theft, $100 to less than $1,500. He was released on personal recognizance. The offense is alleged to have occurred March 1 in the 400-block of Morgnec Road. 

THEFT. Detective Chris Pavon is investigating a March 19 report of identity theft in the 400-block of Hadaway Drive.

THEFT. Officer Quency Carmon and Detective Chris Pavon are investigating a March 20 reported theft in the 600-block of Washington Avenue.
