ASSAULT. Detective Chris Pavon is investigating a reported assault Oct. 6 in the 300-block of Maple Avenue.
FTA. Michelle Marie Barrett, 44, Middletown, Del., on Oct. 7, was issued a bench warrant for failure to appear in court. She was released on $1,500 unsecured bond.
DRUGS. Aaron Kenneth Warren Sr., 54, Church Hill, on Oct. 7, was issued a summons for possession of a controlled dangerous substance that is not marijuana (six counts); failure to obey a lawful order (two counts); and resisting, interfering with an arrest. The offenses are alleged to have occurred June 19 in the area of Hawkins Drive.
THEFT. Detective Chris Pavon is investigating a reported theft Oct. 7 in the 500-block of High Street. Loss is estimated to be between $100 and $1,500.
ASSAULT. John Scott Kraus, 50, Rock Hall, on Oct. 9, was issued an arrest warrant charging him with second-degree assault; and abuse of a vulnerable adult. Bail initially was set at $50,000. FRAUD. DFC Michael Iman is investigating an Oct. 7 complaint of fraud by a Chester Harbor resident, who told police that he was scammed over the phone into providing the codes on two gift cards he purchased. The value of the gift cards totaled $1,000, according to the complainant.
PROBATION. Troy Leonus Somerville Jr., 32, Chestertown, on Oct. 8, was issued a warrant charging him with violation of probation. He initially was held in the Queen Anne's County Detention Center without bail.

THEFT. Cpl. Scott W. Lockerman is investigating an Oct. 1 theft of a hydraulic hammer attachment to an excavator at a job site on Front Street, Galena. The complainant estimated the value of the item as $7,100, according to a sheriff's office news release.
ASSAULT. Deputy Stacey Shockley is investigating a reported assault Oct. 2 in the 6700-block of Church Lane, near Chestertown. The call initially was for a fight in progress, according to a sheriff's office news release.
THEFT. Stacy Lynne Ashley-Pinder, 39, Rock Hall, on Oct. 2, was issued a district court summons for theft, $100 to less than $1,500.
THEFT. Tara Marie Smith, 32, Earleville, on Oct. 5, was issued a district court summons for theft, $1,500 to less than $25,000.
