THEFT. Officer Quency Carmon is investigating a reported theft May 17 at Washington Square Plaza. Loss is estimated to be less than $300.

THEFT. PFC Howard Eveland is investigating a reported theft May 19 in the 700-block of Washington Avenue. Loss is estimated to be less than $500.

THEFT. Officer Mary McLaughlin is investigating a May 23 theft of a motor vehicle in the 100-block of Philosophers Terrace.

COUNTERFEIT. Tina M. Dempsey, 42, Kenton, Del., on May 25, was issued a summons for possess, issue forged currency (two counts); and theft, $100 to less than $1,500. The offenses are alleged to have occurred May 24 in the 100-block of Philosophers Terrace. Officer Mary McLaughlin investigated.

BURGLARY. Cpl. Michelle Guerriero is investigating a reported burglary May 25 in the 100-block of Philosophers Terrace.

THEFT. Cpl. Michelle Guerriero is investigating a reported theft May 25 in the 100-block of Philosophers Terrace. Loss is estimated to be less than $300.

MDOP. Officer Quency Carmon is investigating a May 30 complaint of malicious destruction of property in the unit block of Schooner Way. Cost to repair the damage is estimated to be less than $300.

DRUGS. Brandon Calvin Patrick, 32, Chestertown, on May 27, was issued a summons for possession of a controlled dangerous substance that is not marijuana (two counts); and possession of drug paraphernalia (two counts). He was released on personal recognizance. The offenses are alleged to have occurred May 17 in the 100-block of Morgnec Road. Cpl. Albert Piasecki investigated.

THEFT. Tashara Y'kesha Brown, 47, Chestertown, on May 28, was issued a district court arrest warrant charging her with theft, $100 to less than $1,500. The offense is alleged to have occurred April 24 in the 100-block of Scheeler Road. 

 Kent County Sheriff

ASSAULT. Rashawn Donte Bennett, 19, Chesapeake, Va.,  on June 1, was issued an arrest warrant charging him with first- and second-degree assault; and reckless endangerment. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bail.

FTA. Harry Earle Essick III, 40, Clayton, Del., on June 2, was issued Kent County and Anne Arundel County district court bench warrants for failure to appear in court. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bail.

TRUANCY. Crystal Lynn Coleman, 38, Chestertown, on June 2, was issued a district court summons for harboring a child during school hours and contributing to the condition of a child. 

TRUANCY. Lisa Marie Stapp, 36, Kennedyville, on June 2, was issued a district court summons for harboring a child during school hours and contributing to the condition of a child.
