Kent County Sheriff
BURGLARY. Christopher Michael Stafford, 31, Worton, on Dec. 21, was issued a district court arrest warrant charging him with first-degree burglary; theft, $100 to less than $1,500; and malicious destruction of property having a value less than $1,000.
He also was issued two circuit court arrest warrants charging him with contempt of court and four district court bench warrants for failure to appear in court.
Stafford initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bail.
THEFT. Detective Chris Pavon is investigating a Nov. 29 theft in the 700-block of Washington Avenue. Loss is estimated to be less than $500.
ASSAULT. Catyra Lashawn Wilson, 30, and Tony Allen Wilson, 31, both of Chestertown, on Dec. 1, were charged with second-degree assault and disorderly conduct. The offenses are alleged to have occurred in the 600-block of Washington Avenue. Officer Quency Carmon investigated.
ASSAULT. Destiny Brianna Alexander, 20, Rock Hall, on Dec. 2, was issued a summons for second-degree assault. The offense is alleged to have occurred Nov. 21 in the 600-block of Washington Avenue.
TRESPASS. Freddie Lee Sweets, 66, Chestertown, on Dec. 2, was issued a summons for trespassing on private property. The offense is alleged to have occurred Nov. 27 in the 700-block of Washington Avenue.
Also on Dec. 2, Sweets was issued a summons for trespassing on private property for an offense that is alleged to have occurred Nov. 30 in the 700-block of Washington Avenue.
