DISORDERLY. Faith Donye Bennett, 20, Chestertown, on Jan. 7, was charged with disorderly conduct; resist, interfere with arrest; failure to obey a reasonable and lawful order; and giving a false statement to police. The offenses are alleged to have occurred in the 200-block of Roosevelt Drive. Cpl. Albert Piasecki investigated.
ASSAULT. Christina Nicole Piver, 35, Chesterton, on Jan. 15, was issued an arrest warrant charging her with theft, $100 to less than $1,500; second-degree assault; and first-, third- and fourth-degree burglary. The offenses allegedly occurred Oct. 30 in the 100-block of Church Alley. She was released on $25,000 unsecured bond.
Also on Jan. 15, Piver was issued a summons for theft, $100 to less than $1,500; use of another's credit card; steal another's credit card; and obtain property by counterfeit. The offenses allegedly occurred in July 2020 in the 800-block of High Street. Piver was released on personal recognizance.

FTA. Michelle Marie Barrett, 45, Galena, on Jan. 12, was issued a Queen Anne's County Circuit Court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. She was released into the custody of the Queen Anne's County Sheriff's Office.
DRUGS. Sgt. Sean Maloney is investigating a Jan. 13 report of suspected drug activity in the 100-block of Sassafras Street, Millington.
ASSAULT. DFC Dave Nolan is investigating a reported assault Jan. 18 in the 8600-block of Georgetown Road, near Fairlee. A suspect has been identified, according to a sheriff's office news release.
