April 4, 2022

Rashawn Donte Bennett, 20, Jacksonville, Fla. Second-degree assault. Plea guilty. Verdict guilty. The defendant is sentenced to two years in the Division of Correction, with all but six months suspended. The sentence is to begin Aug. 5. The defendant is placed on two years of supervised probation.

Jason Towers, 46, Westminster. The following charges are placed on the stet docket: theft, $100 to less than $1,500 (three counts); conspiracy to commit theft, $100 to less than $1,500; conducting a theft scheme, $100 to less than $1,500; rogue and vagabond; displaying, permitting to be displayed registration plate issued for other vehicle, to other person (two counts); unauthorized use and display of registration plate (two counts); attaching unauthorized registration plate with intent to conceal, misrepresent vehicle owner ID (two counts); and fraudulent possession of vehicle ownership registration plate, card, title certificate, ID plates (two counts).

Dashawn Tyrell Watson, 34, Chestertown. Driving while impaired by alcohol. Plea guilty. Verdict guilty.

David Mason Allen, 28, Dover, Del. Malicious destruction of property having a value less than $1,000. Plea guilty. Verdict guilty. The defendant is sentenced to 60 days in the Kent County Detention Center, suspended. He is placed on supervised probation for one year.
