It's time for change

Peaceful rallies were held Friday night and Saturday morning, June 19 and 20 in Chestertown's Fountain Park calling for the community to come together to fight for racial justice. Sponsors included the Kent Cultural Alliance, Social Action Committee for Racial Justice, Black Union of Kent County, Bayside HOYAS, Town of Chestertown, Chestertown RiverArts, James Taylor Lynching Remembrance Coalition and Chesapeake Heartland: An African American Project.
