WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Rep. Andy Harris, R-Md.-1st, has announced three upcoming local town halls.
They will be held Oct. 13 in Caroline County and Talbot County and Oct. 14 in Worcester County. The hour-long town halls are free, open to the public and include a question-and-answer session with the congressman.
According to a news release, topics of discussion will cover a wide variety of issues of interest to constituents, including gun control proposals and Second Amendment rights, health care and impeachment proceedings.
The first town hall will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13 at the Greensboro Volunteer Fire Company Community Hall, 13781 Greensboro Road, Greensboro. It is about a 40-minute drive from Chestertown.
It will be followed by the next town hall from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. that same day at the Talbot County Free Library, 100 West Dover St., Easton. The drive from Chestertown takes about 45 minutes.
Harris will then head down to the Lower Shore for a town hall from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14 at Stephen Decatur High School, 9913 Seahawk Road, Berlin. This is about two hours from Chestertown.
